2019 Free Tire Recycling Weeks   April 22-26   &   September 16-20
Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste sponsors two free tire disposal weeks for

all Outagamie County municipalities.

Only Outagamie County “municipalities” may bring tires to our drop-off site during normal

business hours free of charge.  Individual “residents” coming to the drop-off site will be

charged our regular tire disposal rates.

This program accepts tires 18” or less in size and limits 4 tires per household. Tires

exceeding 18” in size will be charged $6.00 per tire or $185.00 per ton.

This program is for households only. NO BUSINESS TIRES ARE ACCEPTED.

2019 Recycling Guide
New this year, instead of the 32 page Tri-County Recycling Guide that was distributed in the Post Crescent and municipal clerks, we are doing something new.  A direct mailer will be sent to every household in the county.  A printable version will be on our website and made available to all municipal Clerks. Call (920) 968-5721 or email recycle@outagamie.org for copies.

Latex Paint Disposal
Latex paint is not hazardous since it is made from water.  Consider donating usable paint to friends, neighbors, theater groups or housing assistance organizations.

Latex paint disposal instructions:
For small amounts: remove the lid and let dry in the can. Stir the paint occasionally to speed dry.
For large amounts: line a box with a plastic bag. Place an absorbent material (kitty litter, sawdust, oil dry) on bottom, pour a layer of paint and repeat as necessary.
Dispose of the dried paint and  cans in the regular garbage.

Recycling Guidelines:                             Recycling FAQ's         Cart Request Form          Additional Information
How to place your recycling at the curb
• Place all recyclable material in cart. There is no need to separate paper from glass, aluminum, plastic and tin.
• Do not place trash in your recycling cart.
• Be sure to have recyclables at the curb the night before your collection day or by 6:00 am on your day of collection. Recycling trucks will not return for late set outs.
• Please keep your recycle cart at least 4 ft away from your trash cart. The best solution is to place your recycling and trash cart on opposite sides of your driveway.
